The emergence of Buyer Agency (also known as Buyer Brokerage) is probably the most significant change in the real estate industry in the last 50 years. Buyer agents help home buyers search the entire market for the best possible home and negotiate on their behalf for the best price and terms. They also help buyers shop for the:

Founded in 1991, the Massachusetts Association of Buyer Agents (MABA) is recognized nationwide for its efforts to educate licensees and consumers about agency issues. MABA, a nonprofit education organization, is a proponent of client-level (representation) services for both buyers and sellers.
